A 4 year project, PNWTOX (Pacific Northwest Toxins), jointly funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science, and the National Science Foundation was awarded September 1, 2009.


PNWTOX is an outgrowth of two highly successful programs:

ECOHAB PNW: Ecology and Oceanography of Toxic Pseudo-nitzschia in the Pacific Northwest Coastal Ocean (ECOHAB-PNW)

River Influences on Shelf Ecosystems (RISE)
